This job requires help with school pick ups after school and bringing school agers to the childcare program where we help with homework and daily activities, preparing snacks, preparing and setting up the space, and general cleaning
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for children across various age groups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times indoors and outdoors and during transportation to the daycare setting
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, social skills, and emotional development
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices for infants and toddlers
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Collaborate with Director/Teacher to develop individualized care plans and behavior management strategies that foster positive growth
Requirements
- 1 yr prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is preferred
- Child Care units are a plus
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) and mandated reporting training to ensure immediate response in emergencies
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children with diverse needs
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment
- Support Director/Teacher set up of snacks, meals, and activities and clean up afterwards.
- Help with childrens homework and reading with them daily.
- General cleaning of daycare setting-Mopping, vacuum, sweep, taking out trash, Dish washing, help with handwashing, diapering, and sanitizing toys and tables before and after activities
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and learning
- Driving -(mileage paid) for transporting kids in your safe reliable vehicle with fully coverage insurance. Must have working seatbelts.

Pay: $17.95 - $18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
