Child Care Teacher/Caregiver for Infant Program-ECE units required inc. Infant units

Palcare is a non profit child care center founded 30 years ago. We serve infant to pre kindergarteners in a developmentally oriented program. We operate with flexible schedules for many families who work at San Francisco Airport and for other essential workers. Palcare is a supportive work environment with teachers that have worked at Palcare for 10, 20 and even 30 years. Experience and Education Requirements:

• Teacher : 12 - 24 units of child development including core ECE classes; at least 50 days of teaching experience.
• :Master Teacher -24+ units of ECE, including core classes plus 2 units of adult Supervision and at least 175 days of teaching experience.
• Hold or eligible to apply for Teacher, Master Teacher or higher Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
• Must include the 3units in ECE Infant/Toddler Development/Environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Good health as confirmed by a physician’s statement.
• Proof of being free or immune to tuberculosis, pertussis, measles & flu
• Must be able to lift and carry a 50-pound object.
• Must be able to see clearly, with or without corrective lenses, for a distance of 30 feet.
• Must be able to walk and run.
• Must be able to speak/read English clearly enough to be understood by adults.

Salary Ranges

• Teacher $ 28.82- 30.51
• Master Teacher $ 31.38- 33.22
