Child care Teacher/floater

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher 2's and 3's class to join our childcare center. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 0–5. This role involves planning developmentally appropriate lessons and partnering with families to support each child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that support early childhood development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning, curiosity, and positive values.
• Supervise, mentor, and support other teachers and classroom staff.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and families regarding children's progress and classroom updates.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental milestones and behavior.
• Ensure compliance with all state and center policies, including safety, health, and educational standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 12–18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college/university.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 0–5.
• Current Physical and TB test (within the last 12 months).
• Clean and current Criminal Background Check through DCDEE.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
