Child Care Worker

Burn Boot Camp is looking for an enthusiastic, fun, and nurturing Childwatch Team Member who has experience caring for children ages 8 weeks to 8 years old. We are committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment that reflects the Burn commitment to our gym members. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility and ensure a safe, engaging, and clean environment.

Shifts needed are: Monday and Friday mornings 8am-10:45am; and rotating Saturdays 7:40am - 10:00am. Must have availability to work these shifts most days for approximately 5-10 hours per week!

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet children and parents with a high five and smile.
• Ensure all children have completed the waiver and understand the general room rules.
• Ensure execution of Childwatch processes.
• Create and execute crafts and activities
• Facility management of Childwatch room - keep items in working order and clean.
• Opening/Closing duties such as cleaning toys, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, etc.
• Interact and engage with children in play or craft time accordingly.
• Provide a safe and fun environment for children of various age groups.

QUALIFICATIONS - Our ideal candidate is-

• Able to remain calm in difficult situations
• A good communicator
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Preferred to have a valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age
