Child Care Worker

Rebecca's Learning Center is seeking a creative, nurturing, energetic, and responsible individuals to be a lead or assistant teachers. Position is full time and candidate would need to be available Monday thru Friday. This is a leadership position that requires teacher to be authoritative, detailed, and able to master and oversee the program.

Location: Wise Road in Commerce Twp., MI.

Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

-Be a good judge of character and reputation (this includes social media)

-Must dress professional and have good personal hygiene

-Be of a positive disposition and must love children

-Have reliable transportation, are dependable and punctual

-Must be able to sustain a high level of energy, to stand for long periods, and list up to 50 lbs.

-Have experience working with young children

-with a commitment to education and learning provided by center if need be.

-Assistant do not need this degree.

Responsibilities Include:

-The safety, education and care of every young scholar in our programs

-Implementing lessons and activities to support development and keep children engaged both indoors and outdoors

-Supervising and engaging in play with children

-Providing for children’s personal and social needs including: diapering, dressing, preparation, and cleaning up before and after all meals

-Notating developmental progress and areas in need of support to assist in assessment

-Communicating positively and politely with the children, staff, and parents

-Maintaining an exceptionally clean and a safe environment. This includes all housekeeping duties done daily, such as, but not limited to: vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen area and bathroom, as well as, keep a neat and organized classroom.

- Cleaning and maintaining a health, safe center.
