Child CareAssistant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The Assistant Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational programs that promote literacy, and social development.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs.
• Assess children's progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times.

Skills

• Strong background in early childhood education, preferably in a private school setting.
• Experience working with children in daycare or similar environments.
• Proficiency in literacy education and math instruction for young learners.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience with special education practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with standardized testing methods for assessing student progress.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
