Child, Teen and Family Therapist -MFT, CSW, PCC in San Jose & Redwood City

Requirements

• Education level - Masters
• Licenses & certifications required - Registered MFT Associate, Associate LCSW, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Clinical Social Worker
• Neuroaffirming trauma informed approach.
• A unique skill set to apply therapy in a creative way (play, art, outdoor activities, etc).
• A strong understanding of gifted children and teens or a willingness to learn.
• Interest in the impact of sensory processing and how it interacts with traditional interventions (or willingness to learn).

The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for setting their own schedule during agreed-upon hours of office use. After school and evening hours are expected. Weekend hours are optional. This position will be for 25+ client hours per week in our San Jose and Redwood City offices.

When starting the position, the therapist will participate in approximately a two month training program and networking/marketing for a stipend. During this time they will grow their caseload to a minimum caseload of 25 clients/billable hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions.
• Conduct thorough assessments and intake evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide support in navigating situations as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and to stay current with best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour
