We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage the daily administrative operations of our preschool that also has experience in the classroom. This individual will be the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors, and will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication and coordination within the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk and respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Maintain student records, attendance, immunization forms, and emergency contacts.
- Assist with enrollment, registration, and withdrawal processes.
Office Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office.
- Support teachers and staff with printing needs.
- Coordinate facility maintenance requests.
Parent & Staff Communication
- Serve as liaison between parents and school staff.
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Previous office experience, ideally in a school or childcare setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and/or preschool management software (e.g., Brightwheel).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain calm under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of early childhood education environments.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
