Childcare Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and social interactions
• Ensure the safety of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols
• Implement care routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices with compassion and professionalism
• Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to monitor developmental progress and tailor activities accordingly
• Participate in team building activities both during work and out of work

Skills

• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
• First aid certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds
