Childcare Assistant Director

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing innovative curriculum plans that promote holistic child development
  • Supervise and mentor teaching staff, ensuring effective classroom management and adherence to educational standards
  • Oversee program operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with licensing requirements
  • Lead fundraising initiatives to support program growth and community outreach efforts
  • Collaborate with families, community partners, and stakeholders to strengthen program engagement and support services
  • Conduct public speaking engagements and represent the organization at community events
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that aligns with best practices in education administration
  • Develop strategic plans for program expansion, quality improvement, and long-term sustainability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred or CDA certificate
  • Great communication skills and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in classroom teaching with a strong background in early childhood education or related fields.
  • Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising teams of educators or administrators
  • Expertise in curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Strong background in budgeting, strategic planning, and fundraising activities
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of fostering collaborative team environments
  • Effective public speaking skills for engaging with families, community partners, and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of education regulations, licensing standards, and safety protocols for childcare programs
  • Working experience in education administration or program management preferred
  • Passion for working with children and commitment to creating positive learning experiences
