Childcare Assistant Teacher
Stepping Stones Learning Center is hiring a dependable and caring Childcare Assistant Teacher to support our classroom team.
The Assistant Teacher will help create a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment, support children’s daily routines, assist with learning activities, and follow all Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities
- Help supervise and care for children
- Support children’s learning, behavior, and routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Communicate professionally with staff and families
- Follow licensing, health, safety, and confidentiality rules
Qualifications:
- Childcare experience preferred, but not required
- Must be dependable, patient, and professional
- Must be willing to complete required trainings
- Must pass required background checks
- Must enjoy working with children
Schedule: Monday through Friday
