Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the childcare center, including program planning, staff management, and community engagement
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote early childhood development and learning outcomes
  • Oversee budgeting processes, manage financial resources effectively, and ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Lead fundraising initiatives to support program enhancements and facility improvements
  • Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards
  • Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community events
  • Represent the center publicly through speaking engagements, community outreach, and advocacy efforts

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in education administration or early childhood management with a focus on leadership roles
  • Extensive classroom teaching experience working directly with young children in early childhood settings
  • Strong background in curriculum development tailored to preschool or daycare environments
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budgeting, and managing financial resources effectively
  • Experience in fundraising activities to support program growth and sustainability
  • Excellent supervisory skills with a track record of managing diverse teams of educators and staff
  • Exceptional public speaking abilities for community engagement and stakeholder communication
  • Knowledge of licensing requirements, health regulations, and best practices in childcare management
