Responsibilities

• Supervise daily classroom activities, ensuring they align with developmental milestones and educational standards
• Support and mentor staff members, providing guidance on behavior management, classroom organization, and early childhood education best practices
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including first aid procedures and health regulations
• Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and caregivers through effective communication and compassionate care
• Coordinate curriculum planning that promotes childhood development, preschool readiness, and social-emotional growth
• Monitor the use of caregiving techniques suitable for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to support their individual needs
• Maintain accurate documentation related to child progress, incident reports, and safety checks

Skills

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings with classroom experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methods
• Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
• First aid certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler care activities
• Excellent teaching skills with a focus on nurturing curiosity and independence in young learners
• Compassionate caregiving skills tailored to working with children with disabilities or special needs
