About the Role:
Join STEPPING STONES LEARNING ACADEMY as a ChildCafe Director, where you will lead our innovative approach to early childhood education and nutrition. This exciting position allows you to create a nurturing environment that promotes healthy eating habits and learning through play.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the ChildCafe, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Plan and implement nutritious meal programs that meet dietary guidelines for young children.
- Collaborate with educators to integrate nutrition education into the curriculum.
- Manage staff, providing training and support to ensure high-quality service and care.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote healthy eating and wellness initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making improvements as needed.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for children and staff alike.
Requirements:
- Experience in a leadership role within a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition standards and dietary guidelines for children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and early childhood development.
- Background check clearance required prior to employment.
