Lotus Behavioral Health Inc in Baltimore, MD is looking for one childcare director to join our 20-person strong team. We are located at 1800 N. Charles St Suite 808. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing preschool & school-age operations including:
• Personnel Management
• Staffing
• Program Development and Support
• Licensing Maintenance and Management
• Professional Staff Development
• Administrative Support
• Sales and Marketing
• Developing and maintaining strong family relationships
• Working with peers as part of the entire management team
• Qualifications

Qualifications

• This candidate will need a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication (both written and oral) abilities, and a strong working knowledge of technology (devices and software) are absolutely necessary to thrive in this role.
• A team player, self-motivated, highly organized, prepared, and have the ability to multitask.
• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
• Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity.
