Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have: Degree in Early Childhood education or related field, experience working with young children, a strong understanding of childhood development, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the social and emotional growth of preschoolers. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social skills
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
- Support children’s emotional well-being through behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement
- Conduct assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or concerns
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques when necessary
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols in accordance with childcare regulations
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood education, classroom management, and new teaching methodologies.
- Support a bilingual(English/Russian) learning environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers
- Proficiency in classroom management, lesson planning, and behavior management technique
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for children with special needs or requiring additional support
- Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Experience with daycare or private school environments is preferred
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment
- Skills in tutoring or supplementary instruction in subjects like math or literacy are advantageous

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
