Childcare Floater

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Childcare Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will provide flexible, high-quality care across multiple classrooms and age groups, ensuring every child receives attentive, nurturing support. Your energetic approach will help create a positive, engaging environment that promotes childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being. As a Childcare Floater, you will be a vital team member who steps in wherever needed to maintain a seamless and enriching experience for children and staff alike.

Duties

• Assist in supervising children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers and schoolager, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Support classroom activities by engaging children in educational games, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor play
• Provide responsive care tailored to each child's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as required
• Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to implement daily lesson plans and developmental activities
• Maintain a clean, organized environment by sanitizing toys, changing areas, and classroom materials regularly
• Observe and document children's progress and behavior to inform ongoing care strategies
• Step into different classrooms as needed to support staffing coverage during breaks or absences

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Childcare experience preferred
• Ability to work with multiple age groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
