Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Childcare Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Lead daily classroom activities to promote early childhood development, including toddler care and preschool experiences.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, ensuring a positive learning environment for all children.
- Collaborate with families and colleagues to support children’s individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Oversee classroom management duties such as maintaining organized learning spaces and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction.
- Support children’s social-emotional welfare by fostering communication skills, emotional regulation, and positive peer interactions.
Skills
- Extensive experience in classroom management and lesson planning within early childhood education settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development milestones, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies.
- Proven ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math (including Montessori methods), physical education, and early intervention programs.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members clearly and compassionately.
- Familiarity with daycare standards, private school environments, and classroom experience in diverse educational settings.
