Childcare Office Assistant M-Fri 10:00-5:30PM $16.50 an hour, Must have fingerprint card & diploma

The Kids Academy is seeking a qualified, experienced and passionate individual for their facility in Peoria, AZ. Please read the job description completely and apply only if you meet all four of the MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Director with center/classroom opening checklists

• Help in CACFP meal counts and associated paperwork

• Prepare meals and snacks for children as per ADHS* regulations and Maricopa County standards .

• Follows established menus , meal patterns and special feeding instructions for certain children.
• Label stored food; maintain logs and reports as required.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment, food & supplies. Order additional supplies when needed.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, equipment and work area. Keep kitchen in a clean, hygienic and orderly manner .
• Be responsible for ensuring a safe and high quality food service environment for the children.
• Keep the facility clean

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma (or higher)

• 1+ years of experience working in Arizona DHS licensed childcare center

NICE TO HAVE:

Applicants should be able to provide copies of all verifiable credentials and three professional references at the time of Interview. Offer of hire will be contingent upon successful clearance of all of the following:

• TB test, Drug screening & signed immunization statement against measles, rubella, diphtheria, mumps and pertussis
• Fingerprint clearance card, signed Criminal History Affidavit & Background check
