$20–$23/hour | Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
Champion Learning Center is seeking a strong, proactive Floor Supervisor to oversee afternoon operations and ensure a safe, well-managed environment for children and staff.
This is not a classroom position.
You will serve as the “point guard” of the center—actively moving throughout classrooms, monitoring supervision, supporting teachers, and preventing issues before they happen.
If you are highly observant, confident, and take initiative, this is a leadership role with real impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesFloor Supervision & Safety
- Monitor classrooms and common areas continuously
- Ensure children are actively supervised and safe at all times
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately
- Support proper staff-to-child ratios and transitions
Staff Support & Accountability
- Observe teacher performance and engagement
- Provide real-time coaching and redirection as needed
- Reinforce expectations around supervision and classroom management
- Communicate concerns clearly to leadership
Afternoon Operations & Closing Support
- Support high-traffic afternoon transitions and pickups
- Assist with classroom closing routines
- Help ensure classrooms are clean, organized, and ready for the next day
Coverage & Center Flow
- Step in during staff breaks or coverage gaps
- Help maintain a calm, structured environment throughout the building
Performance Expectations (Non-Negotiable)
This is a performance-driven role. Success includes:
- Active Movement: Constant visibility throughout the building (not stationary)
- Zero Lapses in Supervision: Immediate correction of unsafe or inattentive behavior
- Real-Time Response: Issues are addressed immediately—not after the fact
- Staff Accountability: Teachers are redirected promptly when standards are not met
- Full Awareness: Ability to monitor multiple classrooms at once
- Professional Communication: Clear, calm, and direct with staff and leadership
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality
Qualifications
- Childcare or related experience preferred
- Strong awareness and ability to multitask
- Confident addressing and guiding staff
- Dependable and self-directed
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the center
