Childcare PreK Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and supporting the individual needs of each child to promote their growth and development.

Duties

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Provide care and supervision.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
• Engage in lesson planning that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
• Background in early childhood education or related field is preferred, with knowledge of childhood development principles.
• Experience in curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
