Childcare Provider

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers, while promoting their development through engaging activities and play.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining hygiene.
• Engage children in playtime, arts and crafts, storytelling, and other interactive activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

Skills

• Experience in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny or babysitter is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
• Strong understanding of toddler care practices and child development milestones.
• Ability to educate children through creative play and structured activities.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
