Childcare Provider (Full-Time)

***PRIOR CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IS A REQUIREMENT***

Applicants should have prior professional childcare experience (e.g., daycare, nannying, preschool, or similar roles). Personal parenting experience alone does not meet this desired requirement.

Overview
We are seeking a FULL-TIME compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider (for a private facility) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and educating children in a safe and engaging environment. This position involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their well-being while fostering their development through structured activities and play.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Engage in daily routines including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene for infants and toddlers.
• Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team approach to childcare.

Skills

• First aid certification is highly desirable but not required. We periodically offer it as part of our team trainings.
• Proficiency in toddler care, infant care, and early childhood education principles.
• Strong background in teaching or caregiving roles such as nannying, babysitting, or daycare experience.
• Familiarity with childhood development milestones and preschool experience is beneficial.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with children and their families.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
