Position Overview:
As an EmergiCrew Member (Emergency Childcare Provider), you will provide in-home childcare for families experiencing last-minute or urgent needs.

Assignments are offered based on your availability, and you are free to accept or decline shifts — giving you full control of your schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for children of various ages
• Respond promptly to same-day and short-notice childcare requests based on your availability
• Arrive on time and prepared for each assignment, often with limited notice
• Adapt quickly to different home environments, routines, and family expectations
• Follow all parent instructions and Emergi-Kid-Care (EKC) guidelines for each visit
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children at all times
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and supervision
• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and the EKC team before, during, and after each visit
• Provide timely updates or check-ins when requested by families
• Complete basic visit documentation or summaries as required
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a calm demeanor in urgent or last-minute situations

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• At least 1 year of childcare experience
• Reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
• Strong communication and dependability
• Comfortable with occasional short-notice requests
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Provide 3 professional references

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
