About FTDC
Fun Times Daycare & Preschool is a licensed early learning center dedicated to providing high-quality childcare and early education while supporting the healthy emotional, physical, social, and cognitive development of every child in our care. Our team works together to create an environment where children feel safe, families feel supported, and teachers feel valued and appreciated.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervising and monitoring the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Supporting children’s healthy development through nurturing interactions and positive guidance
• Implementing emergent curriculum and hands-on learning experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and school readiness
• Following daily classroom schedules, routines, and transitions including indoor/outdoor activities, rest time, meals, and learning centers
• Serving USDA-approved meals and snacks provided by the center
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Completing daily classroom documentation and required paperwork
• Communicating professionally and respectfully with families and coworkers
• Following all Washington State licensing regulations and health/safety requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Cleared Washington State Background Check through MERIT
• Experience in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Completion of required MERIT/STARS trainings including:
• Child Care Basics (30 Hour STARS)
• Mandated Reporter Training
• Bloodborne Pathogens
• Emergency Preparedness
• Serving Children & Families Experiencing Homelessness
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• Current Food Handler’s Permit
• Up-to-date immunization records including TB and MMR requirements
• Familiarity with Washington Administrative Code (WAC) licensing requirements preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Early childhood education: 3 years (Required)
