School Director – Senior, Seasoned with Franchise Childcare Experience Required

We are hiring a senior and seasoned School Director who has successfully led a top-tier franchise childcare school and is looking for stability, autonomy, and long-term growth and not a rescue mission or a start-up.

Education and Experience

  • MUST have at least 2 years of experience as a School Director in an established franchise-branded childcare school.
  • 6–10 years of experience in the childcare industry with a strong track record in leadership and operations.
  • Meets state requirements for a School Director license, preferably holding a non-renewable certificate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict compliance with franchise and state standards, maintaining a safe, high-quality learning environment.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and increase enrollment to maximize occupancy.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement necessary operational changes to maintain excellence.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Maintain and manage the school’s budget within the owner’s financial guidelines.
  • Professionally represent the school to parents, community members, and stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring they align with the franchise’s quality standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with working hours as needed.

  • Proven leadership in a top franchise childcare setting with strong operational expertise.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and maintain a positive work culture.
  • Deep understanding of state and local childcare regulations.
  • Expertise in early childhood development and best practices.
  • Strong behavior management and counseling skills.
  • Technologically proficient and able to adapt to school systems and tools.

Reporting & Compensation

The School Director reports directly to the Regional Director / Franchise Owner and salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications. Bonus Extra!
