What you’ll do

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development through effective behavior management techniques.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate each child's progress and address any concerns regarding child welfare.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
• Maintain classroom management to ensure a positive learning environment where all children feel valued and respected.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
• Create a stimulating learning space that promotes exploration, creativity, and discovery.

Basic qualifications

• Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored for toddlers.
• CPR & First Aid Certified
• CDA or TCC
