Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills through engaging activities tailored to various developmental stages.
- Manage daily classroom routines with effective behavior management strategies to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Conduct assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones for individual children.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention when needed.
- Incorporate special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs and promote inclusive classroom practices.
- Plan and lead educational activities that foster childhood development in areas such as language acquisition, motor skills, and emotional regulation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, assessments, and incident reports in compliance with childcare regulations.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to engage children across different age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and childhood development principles to support diverse learners effectively.
- Experience developing curriculum content that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or child welfare fields.
- Familiarity with classroom experience involving standardized testing procedures and lesson planning for early childhood education programs.
