Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills through engaging activities tailored to various developmental stages.
• Manage daily classroom routines with effective behavior management strategies to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Conduct assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones for individual children.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention when needed.
• Incorporate special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs and promote inclusive classroom practices.
• Plan and lead educational activities that foster childhood development in areas such as language acquisition, motor skills, and emotional regulation.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, assessments, and incident reports in compliance with childcare regulations.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to engage children across different age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
• Knowledge of early intervention strategies and childhood development principles to support diverse learners effectively.
• Experience developing curriculum content that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or child welfare fields.
• Familiarity with classroom experience involving standardized testing procedures and lesson planning for early childhood education programs.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
