Childcare teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for all children, ensuring their welfare and well-being.
• Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Requirements

• Someone with ECE Credentials preferred, or willing to complete necessary coursework.
• Experience working with children in daycare, preschool is preferred but not necessary.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with lesson planning is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs.
