Childcare Teacher Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

Duties

• Assist in Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
• Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a daycare setting.
• Foster an inclusive environment for children with disabilities and special needs.
• Assist in Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Assist in Observe and assess children's development to tailor educational activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting (infant care, toddler care, preschool experience).
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• First aid certification is preferred; CPR training is a plus.
• Background in special education or experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
