Childcare Teachers

** CLEVELAND CHILDREN'S DAYCARE ACADEMY IS HIRING FOR MULTIPLE POSITIONS! **

Pre-K Teacher:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration.
Implementing lessons in a data driven manner using appropriate assessment tools (including student reports) to track learning
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare and family engagement.
Provide early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support in their learning journey.

Experience:
Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
Familiarity with behavior management techniques and early intervention strategies is highly desirable.
Experience in curriculum development, particularly for preschool-aged children, is an asset.

Education Requirements:

CDA or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is REQUIRED

Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the best educational experience for their child
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Incorporate early intervention strategies for children with special needs
- Promote literacy education through storytelling, reading, and writing activities
- Encourage physical education through play and structured exercises

Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Experience in tutoring or providing extra support to students is a plus

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma is REQUIRED

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
