Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood education, literacy, math, and social skills.
• Use learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and track student progress.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring inclusive classroom experiences.
• Manage classroom activities efficiently, maintaining positive behavior management and conflict resolution techniques.
• Engage children through creative play, physical education, storytelling, and library services to stimulate curiosity and love for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, lesson planning, and curriculum development aligned with Montessori or other pedagogical approaches.
• Provide individual tutoring or academic advising to support students’ unique learning goals and developmental milestones.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience working with children in preschool or toddler care settings; private school experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, instructional design, and integrating learning technology into daily activities.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs using appropriate strategies.
• Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and library services.
• Demonstrated conflict management skills to foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
