- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring inclusive classroom experiences.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, maintaining positive behavior management and conflict resolution techniques.
- Engage children through creative play, physical education, storytelling, and library services to stimulate curiosity and love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, lesson planning, and curriculum development aligned with Montessori or other pedagogical approaches.
- Provide individual tutoring or academic advising to support students’ unique learning goals and developmental milestones.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children in preschool or toddler care settings; private school experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, instructional design, and integrating learning technology into daily activities.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs using appropriate strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and library services.
