We invite you to join our amazing Cubs & Butterflies Teacher Team! We are looking for a caring, empathetic individual with a genuine love for working with children. As a pre-school teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters the development of young minds. You will play a crucial role in shaping the mental, physical and educational developmental experiences of infants to children aged 5+.

Childcare/Preschool Teacher/Assistant Teacher Position Details:

• Provide attentive care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive experience for all.
• Communicate effectively with parents during drop-off or pick up.
• Adapt curriculum and activities to meet the individual needs of children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
• Flexible schedule with early AM start and the ability to adapt based on need.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a preschool/daycare settings is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities is highly preferred but not required.
• A nurturing and caring demeanor with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
• Criminal Background Verification, Certification in Child Care Basics, CPR and First Aid is a plus but not required at the time of hiring; if hired, training can be arranged.
• Coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable but not required.
• Must love working with children, be reliable and have a positive attitude.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
