Children's Ballet Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Children's Ballet Instructor to inspire young dancers and foster a love for ballet and movement. In this role, you will design engaging dance programs tailored for children, create a positive and nurturing classroom environment, and help students develop their technical skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Your passion for dance and working with children will help cultivate confidence, discipline, and joy in every student you teach.

PAY : $30-50/class Depending on Experience.

Instructors are REQUIRED to carry Professional Liability Insurance.

Duties

• Develop age-appropriate ballet curricula that incorporate fundamental techniques, creative movement, and theatrical elements
• Lead energetic and engaging ballet classes for children of various skill levels, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, promoting respect and cooperation among students
• Plan lessons that integrate childhood development principles, early childhood education techniques, and special education accommodations when needed
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student growth and address individual needs

Skills

• Strong background in ballet technique combined with experience in curriculum development for children
• Proven teaching ability with classroom management skills tailored for young learners
• Experience working with children across different age groups, including preschoolers and early childhood education settings
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies to foster a positive classroom atmosphere
• Ability to plan engaging lessons
• Skills in childcare, tutoring, and working with students with special needs or in early childhood education environments

Work Environment

This position is a per diem position based in Liberty Lake, Washington. All of our classes are offered both in-person and online.
