POSITION: Children’s Birthday Party Assistant
BEGINNING SALARY: $16.00 per hour
WORKING CONDITIONS: Part-time hourly position. Hours will vary based on event bookings and will be on an as

needed basis. Must be available to work Saturdays.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Children’s Birthday Party Assistant will help in delivering fun, safe, and memorable birthday celebrations for children.
This role involves engaging with children, assisting with games and activities, helping with setup and cleanup, and ensuring
a positive experience for both kids and parents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage party setup before guests arrive.
2. Greet children and parents in a friendly, professional manner
3. Help organize and lead games, crafts, and party activities
4. Supervise children to ensure safety at all times
5. If needed, assist with serving food, cake and drinks
6. Support entertainers as needed
7. Manage party flow and keep children engaged
8. Assist with cleanup, packing and furniture staging after the party

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. Enjoys working with children and has a positive, energetic attitude
2. Patient, reliable, and responsible
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
4. Ability to follow instructions and take initiative
5. Comfortable standing, moving and being active for extended periods
6. Previous experience with children (babysitting, childcare, camps, parties) is a plus
7. Must be dependable and punctual

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be 16 years of age or older
2. Ability to work weekends
3. Background check may be required
4. First aid/CPR certification is a plus
