The Children's Center Teacher is responsible for the overall care of an assigned group of children actively working to meet the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of a specific age group. Providing a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment when self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged and individuality is respected. This care includes meeting the children’s developmental, physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally.
Education: GED/High School Diploma Required
Additional Education Requirements:
College level training in Early Childhood Ed or Child development preferred.
Certifications:
Heartsaver CPR required within 3 months
Experience Requirements:
Childcare center experience and/or formal training required.
Able to communicate effectively with preschool children and adults.
Location: Cookeville Regional Medical Center · Children's Center
Schedule: Full Time, Days, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
