Children’s eBook Illustrator

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Illustrator to bring children’s eBooks to life with engaging, age-appropriate artwork. This role focuses on creating vibrant digital illustrations primarily using Procreate ensuring that stories are visually captivating for young readers. You will collaborate closely with our team to enhance the narrative through your creative artwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to create initial sketches capturing the story’s themes and characters.
• Develop memorable characters that resonate with children.
• Design vibrant scenes that complement and enhance the reader's experience.
• Maintain a cohesive visual style throughout the book.
• Apply effective color schemes, composition, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Refine illustrations based on feedback to meet project goals.
• Prepare illustrations optimized for digital eBook publication.
• Ensure seamless integration of illustrations with the text and layout.
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, Fine Arts, or a relevant field, or a strong portfolio.
• 2+ years of experience in children’s book illustration.
• Proficiency in Procreate is required; experience with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
• Strong storytelling, character design, and color theory skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities.
• Portfolio must showcase work created in Procreate.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
