Children's Residential Mobile Support Worker (Waking Nights)
We are seeking a Mobile Support Worker to work waking nights with a non-profit organisation that s delivered unique support for young people across East Anglia for over fifty years!
Position: Children s Residential Senior Support Worker
Location: Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire
Job type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 38 hours per week
Salary: £24,206 to £24,601 per annum, depending on qualifications

About the Role
As a Waking Nights Support Worker in the mobile team, you ll have the opportunity to work across the range of services. You ll be hands on, working with the young people throughout the night, helping them rest ready for the day ahead. The role includes a range of duties including preparing the home for the following day. You may be required to provide personal care. If you re looking for a varied role which incorporates disability and residential services, then this is the role for you.
Two days are never the same in this role as you work across Norfolk and Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to provide consistent care for service users. You ll work with young people between the ages of 5 and 18 providing extra support and shift cover in residential services for young people and those with disabilities and at the disability short break centre.
About you
You ll bring a positive and can-do attitude to the role, have the ability to adapt to a varied workload and be able to build up strong relationships with a range of professionals and children across services.
You will need to successfully complete an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare before you complete 24 months of Support Work. This will be fully funded by the charity and you will be supported by the training team.
Please note that you must have a full, valid, manual driving licence.
