Join our Clinical Leadership Team at Centra Wellness Network (CWN). As a member of the Clinical Leadership team the Children Services Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of all staff within the Children Services Team, as well as the coordination and facilitation of wraparound services for children with serious emotional disturbances and their families in Manistee and Benzie Counties.

The employee will complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Staff must possess computer, typing, grammar, punctuation, proofreading, transcription, phone proficiencies and excellent communication and customer relations skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, business partners and community stakeholders. Additionally, the employee must exercise independent decision-making and work effectively in a team-based environment. The office will be surrounded by nature, located in Benzonia or Manistee Counties, just miles from beautiful, freshwater beaches and hiking trails. Benzonia and Manistee are a short drive to Frankfort, Traverse City, Cadillac, and Ludington, charming towns outfitted with shopping, unique restaurants and breweries, and a combination of movie-going options including historic theaters and a drive-in!

About the Role

As a Clinical Supervisor you supervise all staff within the assigned clinical team and ensure the development, planning, implementation, and monitoring of quality services and supports.

Your role is to:

  • Supervises staff who develop and execute individual plans of service using self-determination principles.
  • Ensures staffs knowledge about and adherence to principles of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, family driven youth guided care.
  • Leads the development of services and support. Ensuring using established Level of Care Guidelines resulting in efficient and effective services.
  • Coordinates, manages, and ensures services are provided as assigned (e.g. wraparound services, 24/7 emergency services, ACT, etc.)
  • Provides leadership for system transformation. Supervises assigned work groups designed to establish high quality Evidence Based Practices, best practices, and promising practices.
  • Ensures excellent teamwork in all aspects of service implementation through clinical staff meetings, Leadership and Clinical Leadership team meetings. Works collaboratively with all staff.
  • Works collaboratively with other community service providers including law enforcement, Department of Health and Human Services, school districts, courts and other community agencies on behalf of clients.
  • Develops and maintain clinical team through hiring, training and individual/group supervision
  • Develop effective services and support based on community needs including evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinate and manage delivery of services based on trauma-informed recovery-oriented family driven youth guided care.
  • Provides clinical oversight and supervision to staff supporting individuals in residential settings, ensuring services meet regulatory and agency standards.

Requirements:


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation as defined by the State of Michigan required.
  • Must have three to five years of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must also have three to five years of experience as a Mental Health Clinician in Wraparound, Homebased, CSM, or OPT, providing services to children with severe emotional disturbances and their families.
  • If not currently certified, required training during first year will include: MichiCANS certification, Wraparound 3-day (required to supervise Wraparound program) and TFCBT supervision certification.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Michigan’s driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Ability to sustain State Licensure in field of practice and/or Certifications to perform duties of the job.
  • Ability to be certified in First Aid and CPR within 90 days of hire (agency available training)

Work Environment:

CWN prioritizes a work/life balance. Your supervisor will work with you to utilize flex time and paid time off. You will primarily work in the office with the following schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Between 8:00am and 5:00pm

You may be required to work hours outside of the regular schedule if assigned by your supervisor to meet clients’ needs.
