Children’s Dance Theater offers two theater programs for families:

The “Present-a-Scene” classes are for our youngest actors (ages 3-5 and 5-7) and include short songs, dances, and minimal dialogue. The expectation is to have a combined 20-30 minute show with all other Present-A-Scene classes. Directors are expected to work closely with the entertainment director to create the script and provide descriptions for families on what to wear for the performance.

The “Spotlight Theater” classes are for ages 7-12 and present a full Jr. show three times a year. As instructor of a Spotlight class, instructors will provide blocking, acting teaching, music directing, and dance choreography. You will be expected to work closely with the Education Director to create costume needs, props lists, and lighting/sound cues.
