Chilled Water Pipe Welder

Job Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Chilled Water Pipe Welder to join our growing team. This position involves welding and installing carbon steel and/or stainless steel chilled water piping systems for commercial and industrial HVAC projects.

We are looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in producing clean, high-quality welds and can work efficiently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld chilled water piping systems (carbon steel and stainless steel)
• Perform TIG and Stick welding to code and project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and job specifications
• Fit, align, and assemble piping systems
• Assist with hydrostatic testing and system inspections
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pipe welding experience (HVAC/chilled water preferred)
• Proficient in TIG welding; Stick welding experience required
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Knowledge of commercial or industrial piping systems
• OSHA certification preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in construction environments
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces
