Chiller Pick-up/Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Chiller Pick-up/Heavy Truck with basic Customs Runner experience to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting temperature-sensitive goods safely across the UAE and assisting with basic customs/port clearance documentation when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Drive and operate the chiller pick-up/heavy truck safely across designated routes within the UAE, strictly adhering to traffic laws.
• Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and monitor the vehicle’s cooling unit to maintain required temperature settings.
• Customs & Port Coordination: Practical experience handling basic port clearance documentation or acting as a customs runner at key UAE borders/ports.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load, secure, and unload temperature-sensitive cargo.
• Delivery Documentation: Present required permits and documents to customs authorities to cargo inspections, clearances, and release.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid UAE Driving License: Must possess a valid UAE Driving License (Category 3)
• Driver Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience with Port/Terminals.
• Customs Experience: Basic hands-on experience as a Customs Runner or handling port/border document submissions.
• Route Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of UAE roads and closing timing, major highways, commercial, ports and terminal zones.
• Language Skills: Good communication skills.
• Clean Record: Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
