Chiller Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of chiller systems (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and absorption types).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in chillers and related HVAC systems.
• Conduct repairs or component replacements as needed to restore chiller functionality.
• Monitor system performance and record operating parameters for analysis.
• Calibrate and adjust control systems to maintain proper temperature and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including refrigerant handling.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and engineering teams for preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate service reports, checklists, and maintenance logs.
• Support installation and commissioning of new chiller systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls or equipment breakdowns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in chiller maintenance (preferably in industrial or commercial buildings).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
• Experience working with brands such as Carrier, Trane, York, Daikin, or McQuay is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or confined environments.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
