Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Risk Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including sales, procurement, and service agreements.
  • Maintain and update a centralized contract template library with current legal standards.
  • Provide strategic advice on transaction structuring and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee dispute resolution processes, including litigation and arbitration coordination.

2. Compliance Oversight

  • Review marketing and communication materials to ensure cultural and religious sensitivity.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions.
  • Develop and enforce website and product content review protocols.
  • Monitor, interpret, and implement regional legal and policy changes.

3. M&A Legal Support

  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support the negotiation and drafting of M&A agreements.
  • Design legally sound, risk-hedged transaction structures.
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional regulatory approval processes.

4. External Legal Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage external counsel and legal partners.
  • Review and benchmark legal service fees, establishing clear performance evaluation metrics.
  • Coordinate legal collaboration across multiple global regions.

5. Compliance Governance & Training

  • Develop and maintain compliance manuals and crisis response mechanisms tailored to each jurisdiction.
  • Organize and deliver legal and compliance training programs.
  • Regularly review and update company-wide risk prevention frameworks.

Requirements

  • Law degree from a top-tier university with a valid legal professional qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cross-border legal practice (in-house or with an international law firm).
  • Familiarity with Islamic finance law and/or UK–US contract law is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AI-based contract review or legal automation tools.
  • Excellent bilingual drafting ability in English and Chinese (IELTS 7.5 / TOEFL 105+ or equivalent).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
