Chip / Snack Route Company Driver

As a company driver you will be driving a company box truck or step van. The ideal candidate will have some route driver/sales experience, but is not necessary.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles along designated route schedules, ensuring timely deliveries to retail locations.
• Load, unload, and organize product inventory with care, including lifting of snack cases and display materials.
• Engage with store managers and staff to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and assist with product placement or merchandising.
• Implement effective upselling techniques by recommending new or promotional products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain organizational skills to keep delivery schedules on track while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws.

Skills

• Strong driving skills with experience in commercial driving and route navigation.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers professionally and clearly.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and sales techniques to boost product visibility and sales volume.
• Proficiency in math for handling invoices, counting inventory, and calculating sales or discounts.
• Ability to perform consistent lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude that fosters positive relationships.
• Organizational skills to manage route schedules, paperwork, and product displays effectively.
• Experience in merchandising to ensure attractive product presentation at retail locations.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
