Duties

  • Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure accurate documentation
  • Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Assist chiropractors during examinations and treatments
  • Performing X-rays as requested by doctor
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR systems), including documenting patient visits, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and treatment notes
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing health benefits
  • Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance documentation with professionalism

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in medical administrative support or clinical settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding ensures accurate documentation and efficient workflow
  • Strong patient service skills with a friendly demeanor and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
  • Must be self-motivated while navigating the many
  • Previous hospital experience or clinic experience involving X-ray procedures or emergency medicine is a plus
