Chiropractic Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our chiropractic practice by assisting with patient care, documentation tasks, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy, along with excellent patient service skills.

Clinic Hours are as follows and candidate must be available to work ALL hours listed below:

Monday & Wednesday- 7:00am to 11:30am, 1:00pm to 4:30pm
Tuesday & Thursday- 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Friday- 8:00am to Noon.

Duties

• Assist chiropractors in providing care to patients by preparing treatment areas and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Conduct initial patient assessments to gather relevant medical history and current health concerns.
• Educate patients about treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies to promote overall health.
• Use EHR to maintain accurate patient treatment records efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment progress and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic to create a positive atmosphere for patients.
• Collaborate with the chiropractic team to enhance patient care and improve clinic operations.
• Carry out therapy orders for patients as instructed by the treating chiropractor (therapies may include, but are not limited to, setting patients up on electrical stimulation, teaching and assisting patient with exercises, mechanical traction, manual muscle work, etc.).

• Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to ensure appropriate treatment plans are developed.
• Proficient in using office software for scheduling and record keeping, ensuring efficient clinic operations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with patients and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
