Chiropractic Assistant Back office/ Front Desk

Job Overview

This is a temporary position for 5 months, and we are hiring immediately. Training will be provided, with the expectation that the candidate will be able to work independently and start on their own by April.

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our vibrant healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support both the front desk and back office operations, ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to treatment. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will be the friendly face and efficient organizer that helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our clinic’s positive environment and outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their information, and assist with the intake process to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow.
  • Assist with patient assessments by gathering relevant health history and understanding basic physiology concepts.
  • Support chiropractors during treatments by preparing treatment rooms, handing out necessary equipment, and ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Maintain clear communication with patients regarding their treatment plans, instructions, and answering general questions about procedures or terminology.
  • Handle administrative duties such as data entry, insurance verification, and updating patient records with precision.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to accurately document patient information and assist in assessments.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Excellent patient service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that makes patients feel valued and comfortable.
  • Basic understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support effective communication and documentation.
  • Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and comfort with supporting chiropractors during treatments is a plus.
  • A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with patients and team members. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
