• Greet patients warmly and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at the front desk
• Manage patient intake by collecting accurate medical histories and updating records
• Schedule appointments efficiently, accommodating patient needs and practitioner availability
• Assist with patient assessment by understanding basic physiology and anatomy concepts to facilitate communication
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation using medical terminology and record-keeping protocols
• Support clinical staff with administrative duties, including insurance billing, data entry, and insurance verification

Qualifications

• Prior experience in patient service or front desk roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to assist in patient assessments
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing schedules and records
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
