Position Overview

The Chiropractic Patient Concierge plays a critical role in creating an exceptional experience for our patients. Rather than a traditional front desk role, this position is focused on connecting deeply with patients and their families, guiding them through their chiropractic evaluations, and ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their healing journey.

  • Compensation: $22–$25/hour (based on experience)
  • Expected Hours: 20–30 per week

What You'll Be Doing

You are the first person a new patient — and often their whole family — connects with on their first visit. You walk them through their consultation, their scans, their paperwork, and their experience from the moment they walk in until they leave. You are not handing them off. You are guiding them through it.

Day to day, you will:

  • Run the full Day 1 process with every new patient: consultation, goals, education, and technology-based scans
  • Explain what the scans show in clear, simple language and help patients and parents connect the dots
  • Perform evaluations and re-evaluations with precision and care — whether the patient is six months old or sixty years old
  • Walk patients and families through re-imaging flows (spinal and cranial) so they understand their progress
  • Float through adjusting rooms to keep the flow of the office smooth and on pace
  • Handle checkout, payment transactions, and all related paperwork
  • Have real conversations about finances without flinching or apologizing

You do not need prior chiropractic experience. We train everything. What we cannot train is the way you carry yourself and the way you make people feel.

Who We're Looking For

You are warm, but you are not soft. You care deeply about people — including the tired mom with a colicky baby, the dad who's been in pain for years, and the kid who just needs someone to make them feel safe. You also hold the line when it matters.

You are:

  • A strong listener who makes people feel safe. When a patient or parent sits down and shares what their family has been through, you do not rush them or redirect too early. You hold space, you listen, and they leave feeling heard.
  • Confident in a room. You do not shrink when a patient is skeptical or uncertain. You meet them where they are with calm clarity.
  • Comfortable talking about money. Payment conversations are part of care. You handle them without awkwardness.
  • A clear communicator. You explain things in plain language — to adults, to parents, and sometimes to kids. You do not over-talk or under-explain.
  • Calm under pressure. A busy family practice does not rattle you. You stay grounded and keep things moving.
  • Able to handle objections. When a patient pushes back, you do not freeze or fold. You listen, you respond, and you guide.
  • Grounded in your own health values. You do not just work in natural healthcare. You believe in it. You live some version of it. It matters to you personally.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly — with adults, parents, and kids
  • Experience in customer service or a patient-centered role (preferred but not required)
  • A real passion for natural health and chiropractic care
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused when the office is moving fast
  • Willingness to learn detailed clinical processes and perform them with consistency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22–$25/hour

Work Location: In person, Sea Girt, NJ

Schedule: Our office is open Monday through Thursday and Saturday mornings. Your schedule will be a rotating set of shifts within those days, so you will not work all five days every week.
